American Idol for Nintendo Game Boy Advance
Based on the hit "reality television" series of the same title, American Idol for the Game Boy Advance lets players create their own aspiring pop-star vocalist characters, then lead them through all phases of the grueling, nationally broadcast competition. Gameplay is based on rhythm, challenging players to press buttons to the beat of the music. The game's presentation is designed to follow that of the television show, complete with the logo, theme song, and sets -- there's even post-performance commentary from virtual versions of Randy ("Hey Dogg!") Jackson, the effervescent Paula Abdul, and the brutally frank Simon Cowell.
